Water is not a privilege, it is a right
Water is the most important element for life and having access to it is a universal right.
However...
❌ 2 out of 10 people lack access to safe drinking water services.
❌ Nearly a third of the world's population DOES NOT HAVE ACCESS to clean drinking water.
❌ About 4 million people, mainly children, die each year from problems related to contaminated water and inadequate sanitation.
❌ Every 20 seconds a child dies from problems related to contaminated water and adequate sanitation
❌ On average, women and girls in developing countries in marginalized communities walk 6 km a day carrying 20 litres of water.
Together we can help children and their families have access to clean water so they can protect their health and their future.
💦 Thanks to your support, Clarity Systems allocates through the Water Saves Lives program 4% to the installation of water purification plants in marginalized areas of Mexico.

Water Saves Lives' projects
Mariana Sala I.A.P. Foundation (Educational Center)
The Mariana Sala Foundation supports children in the Puerta del Ángel and Bolaños communities in the city of Querétaro, with a history of family violence, in the streets and in schools and who, in addition, are of limited resources. The goal is to break that pattern and give the children of those communities a better life expectancy and a space where they can feel protected and safe for their proper development.
•The center will save more than $35,000 pesos annually in jugs thanks to the purifiers installed.
Casa Otomí (Community Center)
In the heart of the indigenous area of Amealco, Querétaro, La Casa Otomí offers facilities to neighboring communities to cover health, education and food needs.
•Water Saves Lives installed a water purification team to provide drinking water to the 120 children and their families who visit this center daily.
Goretti Orphanage
In this house live girls, adolescents and young people, ranging from 0 to 30 years of age, with intellectual disability to a mild or moderate degree, Down syndrome, autism, sequelae of cerebral palsy, neonatal hypoxia, microcephaly, motor disability, among others.
• Water Saves Lives placed two purification kits in the kitchen and dining room to supply quality water to the 30 girls and their 10 caregivers.
Friendship House for Children with Cancer I.A.P
Orphanage that seeks to contribute to the fight against cancer by providing oncological treatments and specific supports that require children and young people of limited resources in Mexico.
• Water Saves Lives installed a water purification unit in the dining room with the capacity to benefit more than 600 children and their families who are fighting this disease.
Benito Juarez (Community Center)
Due to its location and dispersed population, the inhabitants do not have access to 100% purified water; they take water from the tap, boil it or put chlorine tablets on it.
•Water Saves Lives installed a purification unit in the Community Center where children come every day to make use of the facilities.
Maximiliano María Kolbe Association I.A.P.
It is a private assistance institution whose mission is to provide a home for girls, adolescents and adults with permanent mental impairment who have suffered physical, mental violence and abandonment. In this house live 32 women who arrived after they were abandoned or the parents lost guardianship due to omission of care, mistreatment, physical, sexual or psychological abuse.
• The purifiers installed, in addition to giving them water of the best quality, allow women to be self-sufficient in serving their own glass of water directly from the goose tap.
